Rafal “nobodysmiling” Bielecki began DJing at the age of 16 when he purchased a set Technics turntables. From that moment on his passion for music had a purpose. A product of the “golden era” of Hip Hop, nobodysmiling is all about maintaining the integrity of a true DJ. With more flavours than a pack of lifesavers, nobodysmiling is everything a DJ should be, versatile, skilled and a true tastemaker. Montreal native Rilly Guilty has been keeping busy in his city. Holding down a monthly aptly named BOOTYSHOTS with past guests Ghislain Poirier, Skratch Bastid, Speakerbruiser, Khiasma, and most recently b-more native Rye Rye. The Bootyshots crew is dedicated to bringing the people that good club music back to the clubs. Originally started at Montreal’s party haven, CODA Social Club, the crew has had to move on after the unfortunate closing of our favorite place to get buck wild. Big things coming!
He is also part of the furniture at Team Canada’s spot The Blue Dog Motel. Where Truspin & Guilt’s “Le Spank” Saturdays will be soon celebrating one year of body rocking since opening its doors last April. The emphasis is always on the music and the party. Whether it’s that boom bap, or that house music, or anything in between. If it’s a club on the strip, a loft in the hood, or your local man made beach. If it’s your city, or my city it don’t matter because we having a good time.
